Your journey begins early in the morning from Science City or any convenient pickup point within Kolkata. As you leave the city behind, enjoy a comfortable drive through the peaceful countryside of West Bengal. After approximately three hours, you will arrive at Gadkhali, the main entry point to the beautiful and historic Sundarbans.
Upon arrival, board your designated safari boat and begin your exploration of the Sundarbans — the largest mangrove forest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The boat cruise takes you through wide rivers and narrow creeks such as Pir-Khali, Banabibi-Varani, Gazi-Khali, and Sarak-Khali, offering a close view of the unique delta ecosystem.
During the safari, you may spot wildlife such as spotted deer, estuarine crocodiles, water monitor lizards, and a variety of migratory and resident birds. With favorable timing and luck, you may even witness the Royal Bengal Tiger in its natural surroundings.
This itinerary includes visits to important observation points:
Sajnekhali Watch Tower – A well-known watchtower offering open views of the surrounding forest and water bodies.
Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower – One of the prime wildlife observation spots in the region.
Dobanki Watch Tower – Famous for its elevated Canopy Walk, a secure pathway built above the forest floor that allows visitors to observe wildlife from a safe and unique vantage point.
Five River Junction - The tour also includes a visit to the remarkable Five River Junction, where five rivers meet. This wide and scenic confluence highlights the vastness and natural beauty of the delta region, offering excellent photographic opportunities.
Breakfast and lunch will be freshly prepared and served onboard during the cruise to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
After completing the safari and sightseeing activities, return to Gadkhali and begin your drive back to Kolkata.

- Meals are prepared using fresh local ingredients. The menu may vary depending on seasonal availability while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.
- For safety or technical reasons, vehicles or boats may be replaced with equivalent alternatives without compromising comfort or service quality.
- Foreign nationals are required to pay additional jungle entry and guide fees as per government regulations. These charges are not included in the standard package price.
- All tours operate under the guidelines of the Forest Department. Guests must carry a valid government-issued ID for permit processing.
- Wildlife sightings, including the Royal Bengal Tiger, depend on natural movement and cannot be guaranteed. However, our experienced guides maximize your chances of sightings.
- Guests are advised to follow safety instructions during boat safaris and excursions. Maintaining discipline in forest areas is mandatory.

Child Policy
- Children below 4 years: Complimentary (No charges applicable).
- Children aged 4 to 8 years: 50% of the package cost will be charged.
- Children above 8 years: Full package cost will be applicable.
